Hello, I am KateAnn Penrose. A CAPS teacher ed student, I have observed at Oxford Middle School in Mrs. Dugan's 7th-grade class, and at Oak Hill Elementary in Ms. Washingtons kindergarten class. For which I created a lesson plan during their maker-space time. I've learned many teaching strategies in CAPS. I have earned my apple teacher certification, and I have recently also become the vice president of Educators Rising Kansas. Educators Rising is a national club for aspiring educators. In my second semester of CAPS teacher ed, I have observed at Oak Hill Elementary in Mrs. Phifers ESOL class. I have learned in this observation how every student is different and all students in a classroom could have a completely different learning style. I am very excited to further my education in CAPS and beyond, and work in different schools with new students.
